Rare A.L.S., Yasir Arafat, in Arabic, one page, large drawing folio, n.p, 21st December 1988, the letter being a tribute to Josip Tito. Arafat, in his capacity as President of the Palestinian, states in part `The memory of the Leader and Commandant Tito will remain forever as an example to follow

A very attractive and cleanly written document EX £600-900 Josip Broz Tito (1892-1980) Yugoslav Revolutionary and Statesman. He gained further international attention as the chief leader of the Non-Aligned Movement. Widely considered a soft dictator, but also a unifying symbol bringing peace and coexistence.
