ZHUKOV GEORGY: (1896-1974) Soviet General and Marshal of the Soviet Union who oversaw some of the Red Army's most decisive victories during World War II. D.S., in Cyrillic, three pages, 4to, n.p., 28th November 1940. The partially printed document, in Cyrillic, and completed in another hand, is an attestation document verifying the personal details and career of a Russian military officer, stating that he was born in 1902 and is of Jewish heritage, and that he has served with the Red Army since 1929.
