Auguste Lumiere thanks his correspondent for his book forwarded to him via the librarian and sends his best regards to relatives, further stating in part ` Permettez-moi de vous rappeler, mon cher Général, que mes modestes services restent toujours a votre entire disposition au cas où ils pourraient vous être de quelque utilité´ (”Allow me to remind you, my dear General, that my modest services always remain at your entire disposal in case they could be of any use to you.”) VG
