GILOT FRANÇOISE: (1921- ) French Painter. Best known for her relationship with Pablo Picasso with whom she had two children. Signed 7 x 5 photograph by Gilot, the image showing her standing in a half-length pose at a gallery. Signed in blue ink to a clear are of the image. VG
Gilot´s professional career was eclipsed by her social celebrity alongside Picasso, but when she split from him, he discouraged galleries from buying her works and tried unsuccessfully to block her memoir Life with Picasso.
