VICTORIA: (1819-1901) Queen of the United Kingdom Great Britain & Ireland 1837-1901. A.L.S., with her initials VRI, three pages, 8vo, Windsor Castle, 1st March 1895, to Princess Isabelle of Orleans ('Ma chere Isabelle'), on the Queen's personal monogrammed black bordered mourning stationery, in French. The Queen states that her daughter will deliver her letter, expressing her gratitude for the memories represented by Princess Isabelle in a card, and remarking 'J'ai de suite reconnu dans la jolie aquarelle l'eglise….'
