TORDOFF HARRISON 'BUD': (1923-2008) American fighter ace with the United States Army Air Forces during World War II, later a noted ornithologist and conservationist. Small selection of three signed printed images of various sizes (largest 15 x 11; each neatly removed from books or magazines) and a signed 8.5 x 10.5 photograph, several of the images depicting Tordoff's P-51 Mustang aircraft in flight and another showing him standing in a half-length pose alongside the nose of his aircraft. All are signed by the pilot in black ink to clear areas of the images, adding details of his fighter group and squadron in his hand beneath the signatures. Together with a photocopy of a T.L.S. by Tordoff with interesting content regarding the naming of his aircraft and a second photocopy of a World War II combat report.
