FOUCHÉ JOSEPH: (1759-1820) Convention Deputy and Minister of Police. Rare and attractive D.S., `Fouch´, with annotation, two pages, oblong 14 x 7.5, several locations and dates, Lobenstein 26th March 1805, Schweinfurth 7th May 1805, Strasburg 17th May 1805, Wurzburg 7th March 1806, to Friedrich Staufe, in German. The partially printed document describes and lists personal details of craftman Staufe and explains where and when he has been working lately. Granted by craft guild headmasters of different cities. Signed to the verso by Fouch, beneath a written text in French, in his capacity as Senator and Police Minister of the Empire. The document bears to the verso two ink stamps and authorizations to travel and cross boundaries, also bearing to front and verso three blind embossed seals, two on paper seals affixed. To the front bottom right corner the pass document shows a good red wax seal in very fine condition. Few small holes, not affecting the signatures. Folded. VG £100-150
