BEGIN MENACHEM: (1913-1992) Israeli politician who served as Prime Minister of Israel 1977-83. Nobel Peace Prize winner, 1978. T.L.S., M. Begin, in Hebrew, one page, 8vo, Jerusalem, 11 th August 1977, to Professor Yitzhak Katz, on the blind embossed stationery of the Knesset, in Hebrew. Begin refers to two books and states that he will be honoured to include them on the shelves of his library and will find time to read them 'as I also know the value of your work'.
