CRICHTON CHARLES: (1910-1999) English film director, an Academy Award nominee. Signed 8 x 10 photograph of Crichton seated outdoors in a full-length pose, alongside a camera, on the set of his final film A Fish Called Wanda (1988). Amusingly signed by the director in blue ink to a light area at the head of the image, ´Love and fishes xxx Charles Crichton´. EX
Crichton received Academy Award nominations for both Best Director and Best Original Screenplay (along with John Cleese) for his work on the acclaimed comedy film A Fish Called Wanda.
