SLEDGE PERCY: (1940-2015) American rhythm & blues, soul and gospel singer. Signed colour 8 x 10 photograph of Sledge in a head and shoulders pose and holding a microphone in one hand. Signed in blue ink with his name alone to the base of the image, his surname running across a darker area. A pencil note in the hand of a collector to the verso indicates that the signature was obtained in person at the Hilton Hotel Vienna Plaza following Sledge´s appearance at the Vienna Jazz Festival (29th June - 16th July 2006).
