[JUDAICA] ADLER HERMANN: (1839-1911) Chief Rabbi of the British Empire 1891-1911. A.L.S., with his initials H A, to one side of a small printed postcard ( ´From the Office of the Chief Rabbi´), Finsbury Square, London, 10th September 5653 (i.e. 1893), to W. A. H. Saul. Adler informs his correspondent that ´A Jewish Reply to Colenso, of which I was joint author, was issued in 1865 & published by Messr. Trubner´ and further advises his correspondent as to where they may be able to procure a copy. Hand addressed by Adler to the verso.
