GRANT LEE: (1927- ) American actress, Academy Award winner for Best Supporting Actress in 1975 for her role as Felicia in Shampoo. A good signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph, the original vintage publicity portrait depicting the actress in a head and shoulders pose in costume from her screen debut as a young shoplifter in the American crime drama film Detective Story (1951) directed by William Wyler. Signed by Grant in bold blue fountain pen ink across a light area of the image. It was for her performance in this role that Grant was nominated for her first Best Supporting Actress Oscar. VG
