LORINI, Bonaiuto (ca. 1540 - 1611) - Delle fortificationi.. libri cinque. Venice: Giovanni Antonio Rampazetto, 1597-1596. A well known treatise on fortification with numerous woodcut illustrations. Folio (345 x 242mm). Engraved vignette with arms on title, author's portrait, numeours woodcut illustrations, initials and headpieces (without final blank, tpo margin affected by dampstaining and repaired at top corner occasionally causing some minor loss). 18th-century calf (restored and rebacked preserving only part of original spine).
