כרזה מטעם ממשלת בריטניה, ובה הכרזה על תחילת המנדט הבריטי על ארץ ישראל. [ארץ ישראל, 1920 בקירוב]. אנגלית.
כרזה מטעם ממשלת בריטניה, ובה נאום שנשא הרברט סמואל, הנציב העליון הראשון, עם כניסתו לתפקיד. הכרזה מבשרת לתושבי ארץ ישראל – יהודים, מוסלמים ונוצרים – על תחילתו של המנדט על ארץ ישראל שהעניק חבר הלאומים לבריטניה, ומפרטת את החוקים שיונהגו בארץ ואת קווי המדיניות שצפויים הבריטים לנקוט בתחומים שונים: בממשל, במיסוי, בדת וביחסים בין הדתות, בפיתוח הארץ בתחומי הכלכלה, הרפואה והתחבורה, טיפוחה של ירושלים וקידום המחקר הארכאולוגי בה, ועוד.
בתחילת הכרזה נדפסה הצהרת המלך ג'ורג' לתושבי ארץ ישראל, שנמסרה להרברט סמואל, ואותה הקריא ביום הקמת ממשלת המנדט, 1 ביולי 1920 (ראו: "קדם", מכירה 80, פריט 14).
