Tiyul BeEyona – Poem by Meir Wieseltier – Limited Edition – Dedication to Nahoum Cohen
Tiyul BeEyona, poem by Meir Wieseltier. Kiltartan publishing, Tel-Aviv, 1963. Illustration by Nahoum Cohen (Kein).
The first poetry book published by Meir Wieseltier. Printed in 200 numbered copies, at the same time that Maxim Ghilan's poem "Matach" was published. Both works were printed in limited editions on large cardboard sheets folded into four, resembling thin poetry books and are a preliminary publication of the one-time periodical "Kiltartan". "Matach" and "Tiyul BeEyona" were launched in a special poetry evening in the "Hamam" hall in Jaffa on June 23, 1963. Most of the copies of "Tiyul BeEyona" were lost and this work has never been reprinted in any of Wieseltier's poetry books.
Presented here is copy no. 115. On the colophon appears a dedication handwritten by Wieseltier to Nahoum Cohen: "to Nahoum, second time is better than the first time" (September 1965).
Sheet: 35X50 cm, folded in four. Good condition. Slight spotting. Creases. Scribble in pen on one page.
