"Jerusalemite Amulet" – Printed on Paper
Jerusalemite amulet. "Protection against plague, fire, evil, …cure for children's diseases…weakness of body and organs". Printed by "AB"A ben AB"A", Jerusalem, [ca.1930s-40s].
Leaf folded into two. The amulet is printed in front, after the large amulet printed by Frumkin printing press in 1874 (see previous item); on the reverse – Menorah Lamenatze'ach with Tablets of the Law, the Holy Places and the Temple Vessels.
24.5 cm. Fair condition. Folding marks, tears and spots.
