David Ben-Gurion - Letter to Rabbi Maimon, 1948
Ben-Gurion, David. Long typewritten letter on official stationery of the "Provisional Government", with handwritten signature and corrections by Ben-Gurion, addressed to Rabbi Yehuda Leib Fishman (Maimon). Jerusalem, September 1948.
Ben-Gurion writes about the difficulties encountered when establishing the army and the state, and asks Rabbi Maimon to change his mind and not retire from the government, since doing so will have a bad impact on the first government of the State of Israel. [2] leaves, 27 cm. Good condition, folding-marks, several stains, ink-stamps and an inscription in pen, tear at upper corner and filing-holes.
