Copper Hanukah Lamp – Central Europe
Copper Hanukah Lamp. Central Europe (Germany or Czechoslovakia) the 20th century.
Back plate decorated with engraved frame, round protruding decorations, a Maggen David on top with a large jug with two handles from which rises a flame.
A thin post attached to the base carries eight oil vessels and at its center a cantilever carrying the Shamash. The jug background and the lamp's base are hammered. The frame on the bottom of the lamp is designed as bricks. A hanging hook on the back side.
Height: 27 cm. Maximum width: 26 cm. Very good condition.
