About the affairs of Ein Harod Overview and Certificates The Joseph Trumpeldor Labor Battalion Tel Yosef 1923
The difficult economic situation and ideological disagreements led to a split in the Labor Battalion.
The Gdud Ha'avoda company in the Jezreel Valley was originally established in two settlements: Ein Harod and Tel Yosef, which split into two separate kibbutzim in the spring of 1923.
Some of the members of Ein Harod were members of the Second Aliyah, loyal to Achdut Ha'avoda, while most of the members of Tel Yosef were members of the Third Aliyah.
Members of Ein Harod, together with other pioneer groups, founded the Kibbutz HaMuchad movement. Then, in the mid-1920s, the battalion split between right and left.
The left-wing movement was interested in fighting to implement the principles of socialism and the national commune that would include all the workers in Palestine, whereas the support of the right-wing stream was first and foremost the construction of the economy of the company and national values.
