Letter by Rabbi Meir Abuhatzeira – the "Baba Meir" – Morocco, 1950

Written on official stationery.
The Rebbe rabbi Meir Abuhatzeira (died in 1983) was the eldest son of the Kabbalist Rabbi Yisrael the "Baba Sali". He too was a Kabbalist and was known by the title "Baba Meir". When he was 25 he, received his rabbinical ordination. In 1945, he became the rabbi of Midelt, Morocco and in 1953, the rabbi of Erfoud. In 1965, he immigrated to Israel and settled in Ashdod. Many Torah scholars, rabbis and heads of yeshivas came to his house there to receive advice and strengthen in the God worship.
Condition: Fair. Glued onto another paper. Tears with slight omission of text. Rust stains. Most of the text appears despite the damage.
