Impressive pocket-format manuscript, on parchment. The title of the title page of the manuscript "Sefer Mareh Cohen". The book contains various prayers for Yamim Nora'im and the Jewish holidays, headed by Birkat Cohanim. Colorful title page illustrated with flowers and "hands" - a symbol of the Cohanim blessing Israel. An impressive original binding with a golden impression of the title of the volume 'Mareh Cohen'. Vowelized scribal script with artistic Tagim. The small manuscript before us was designed to be used by the Cohen during Birkat Cohanim.
An impressive item!
The manuscript was written by the scribe "Ya'akov Shmuel Ben Rabbi Azriel Cohen a scribe in Amsterdam". "written in honor of Rabbi Chaim Ben Rabbi Moshe Cohen Shuster of Frankfurt am Mein". Frankfurt am Mein [1812].
The manuscript begins with Birkat Cohanim. Then it contains Hallel for Shlosha Regalim (with the blessings of the Lulav), Seder Hosha'anot; Chazarat ha'Shatz for Yamim Nora'im, including "Ha'Yom Harat Olam", "Areshet Sefateinu", "Ha'Yom Te;amtzeinu", "Ke'Ha'Yom Ha'Zeh", "Avinu Malkeinu", Yitzer for YomKippur, the Piyyut "Adir Ve'Naor" and Seder Birkat Ha'Levana.
Before some of the prayers, there are instructions in Hebrew-Teitsch.
On the leaves of the binding, ownership inscirptions of "Isaac ben Chaim Shuster Katz" and a bookplate (ex libris).

Condition: Good. Stains. Ownership inscriptions in a foreign language on the Forsazt leaves at the beginning and end of the book.
