Tony Curtis, stage name of Bernard Schwartz (New York, June 3, 1925 – Henderson, September 29, 2010), was an American actor.
A brilliant and extremely versatile actor, he was one of the most successful Hollywood stars in the 1950s and 1960s.[ His most famous roles are found in the films Hot Lead, Some Like It Hot, Operation Petticoat, Spartacus, The Great Race and The Boston Strangler; he also had success in the television series The Persuaders paired with Roger Moore.
