Title: Cat from the Wrong Side of the Tracks. Limited edition print created posthumously from the original 1964 oil on board painting by children's book writer and illustrator Dr. Seuss. Print takes a turn from the usual whimsical world of Dr. Seuss and peers into his darker side. Features a cigarette-smoking cat playing on a Seussian-style pool table; the cat sports a red tie with large breasted girly cat design. Artist signature printed to lower left corner; edition number printed to lower right corner. Wood frame with satin black finish. Sight size: 24"W x 44"H; frame: 28.5"W x 48.5"H x 1.25"D.
