German Advertising Ashtray, Luchow's Restaurant 1882
Crafted for Luchow's, the best known German restaurant in New York City which opened in 1882. A vintage ceramic circular dish with a figural stein in the center. The stein is decorated with two images of men smoking pipes and drinking beer. Luchow's Restaurant. Since 1882 New York City is inscribed on the top. Germany marked on the underside.
