La valle, oggi inserita nel Trentino-Alto Adige, per secoli è stata legata politicamente e culturalmente all’Austria. Tra i maggiori esponenti della scuola fiemmese del Settecento, come Francesco, Michelangelo, Ignazio e Cristoforo Unterperger, Giuseppe Alberti, Tommaso Rasmo e Francesco Antonio Vanzo.

The artwork exhibits significant stylistic elements that lead it back to the Val di Fiemme school of the 18th century. The valley, now part of Trentino-Alto Adige, has been politically and culturally linked to Austria for centuries. Among the major exponents of the fiemmese school of the 18th century, such as Francesco, Michelangelo, Ignazio and Cristoforo Unterperger, Giuseppe Alberti, Tommaso Rasmo and Francesco Antonio Vanzo.
