Felice Brusasorzi or Brusasorci (Verona 1539 - 1605) attributed Saints Benedict and Francis in adoration of the Virgin and Child Oil on slate 32 x 24 cm The composition, divided into two distinct registers and calibrated symmetrically, the gestures of the saints and the swirling burst of the various angels, bring us back to the veronese mannerism of the 16th century and in particular to the master Felice Brusasorzi or Brusasorci. There are many citable findings: as regards the Virgin and Child, the painting in the church of San Pietro in Carnario in Verona depicting the Madonna and Child with the SS. Lucia and Caterina, or the Giusti Altarpiece in the Sacristy of Sant'Anastasia; the San Francesco, on the other hand, is very similar to the central figure of the Capuchin Altarpiece in the church of the same name in Bolzano.
