Monogrammato LP sul dorso del libro.
La tela rappresenta la seconda testa di carattere del rarissimo pittore che si firmava col monogramma LP. L'altra opera siglata LPF (F per Fecit) proviene dal Castello Visconti di Somma Lombarda. Passò in vendita presso Christie's, Roma, asta del 17 dicembre 2003. Nel 2006 fu esposta e pubblicata, alle pagg. 68 e 69, del catalogo della mostra "Teste di fantasia del Settecento veneziano" promossa dalla Fondazione Cini di Venezia.

Monogrammed LP on the spine of the book.
The canvas represents the second character head of the very rare painter who signed himself with the monogram LP. The other artwork signed LPF (F for Fecit) comes from the Visconti Castle of Somma Lombarda. It went on sale at Christie's, Rome, auction of December 17th 2003. In 2006 it was exhibited and published, on pages 68 and 69, from the catalog of the exhibition "Teste di fantasia del Settecento veneziano" promoted by the Cini Foundation in Venice.
