Al retro etichetta Raccolta Galleria Manfrin con attribuzione a Gerolamo da Carpi.
L'opera riprende, con varianti, l'Allegoria della Pace di Battista Dossi inserendola in un magnifica quinta paesaggistica. L'attribuzione tradizionale riportata al retro trova un importante riscontro comparativo nella Sacra Famiglia e San Giovannino del Museo Blanton di Austin dove ritroviamo una scenografia di rovine molto simile.

On the back, Raccolta Galleria Manfrin label with attribution to Gerolamo da Carpi.
The artwork takes up, with variations, Battista Dossi's Allegory of Peace, inserting it into a magnificent landscape backdrop. The traditional attribution reported on the back finds an important comparative confirmation in the Holy Family and Saint John of the Blanton Museum in Austin where we find a very similar scenography of ruins.
