L'opera nasce probabilmente dalla mano di un seguace di Bartolomeo Bimbi, si ispira ai ritratti di animali che il maestro dipinse per i Medici a partire dal 1708 e oggi conservati presso Palazzo Pitti.

The artwork probably originates from the hand of a follower of Bartolomeo Bimbi. It is inspired by the animal portraits that the master painted for the Medici from 1708 onwards and which are now in the Pitti Palace.
