Portuguese silver salver/tray from the 19th century, resting on three feet. Guilloché engraved bottom with vegetal motifs and a grille with vines and grapes. Marked with the Porto hallmark (P-55.0b), datable from c.1877 to 1881, and the silversmith's mark JJM & Fº (P-421.0), attributable to João Joaquim Monteiro & Filho, re-marked with an old man's head. Signs of use, stains, scratches, and minor dents. Approx. weight: 1720 g; Approx. diameter: 42.5 cm.
