Ceremonial Dagger / Naval Dagger with Mask-Adorned Handle, Mediterranean Region, 19th Century
handle wrapped with brass wire, each end of the handle featuring a relief mask, likely representing Mars (God of War) and Neptune (God of the Sea), short curved crossguard made of brass, triangular blade, in a brass-mounted leather scabbard, age-appropriate condition, with rust damage, total l. 47 cm, blade l. 23.3 cm

Zeremonieller Dolch / Marinedolch mit maskenverziertem Griff, Mittelmeerraum, 19. Jh.
Griff mit gewickeltem Messingdraht, an den Enden des Griffs jeweils eine reliefierte Maske / Mascaron, die wahrscheinlich Mars (Gott des Krieges) und Neptun (Gott des Meeres) darstellen, kurze gebogene Parierstange aus Gelbguss, dreikantige Klinge, in messingbeschlagener Lederscheide, altersgemäße Erhaltung, mit Rostschäden, L. 47 cm, Klingenlänge 23,3 cm
