La società Royal Enfield con sede a Redditch iniziò a produrre delle motociclette già nel 1898, all'inizio con motori di De Dion .
 Negli anni prima della prima guerra mondiale la compagnia ebbe molto successo con i gemelli a V con motore leggero Motosacoche, queste erano equipaggiate con il famoso cambio Enfield a due velocità, che coinvolgeva due catene primarie.
 Nel mozzo della ruota posteriore veniva montata una trasmissione ammortizzata in gomma, per estrarre il pugno dalla catena.
 Il modello presentato ha motore da 500 cc. monocilindrico e cambio a quattro marce con leva al serbatoio. La prima immatricolazione è del 26/4/1937 (Reale Automobile Club d'Italia) e la seconda del 21/08/1946 (Ispettorato Generale della Motorizzazione Civile).

The Redditch-based Royal Enfield company began making motorcycles as early as 1898, initially with De Dion engines.
 In the years before the First World War, the company was very successful with the V-twins with light Motosacoche engine, these were equipped with the famous two-speed Enfield gearbox, which involved two primary chains.
 A cushioned rubber transmission was mounted in the rear wheel hub to extract the punch from the chain.
 The model presented has a 500 cc engine. single cylinder and four-speed gearbox with lever on the tank. The first registration is on 26/4/1937 (Royal Automobile Club of Italy) and the second on 21/08/1946 (General Inspectorate of Civil Motorization).
In excellent condition, it is complete with documents.
