egg tempera on wood with silver oklad, depicting "Virgin of Smolesk". Fully hallmarked with 84 zolotniks (875/1000) silver marks, Moscow early 19th Century, assayer Mikail Mikhailovich Karpinsy working in Moscow from 1820 to 1824. Dimensions 22 X 17.5 x 2,5 cm. Item condition grading: **** good.
