CLUVER, Philipp (1580-1622) - Introductionis in universam geographiam. Amsterdam: Petrus de Coup, 1729. An uncut copy of this later edition with fine plates. 4to (265 x 210mm). Allegorical frontispiece, title in red and black, 52 plates among which many maps, mainly folding (browning, some staining affecting also frontispiece and title). Contemporary boards with manuscript title on spine label, uncut (some staining). Provenance: Giacomo Giovannetti (18th/19th-century bookplate).
