JENNY HANIVER
A Jenny Haniver is a fictitious monster created using the carcass of a guitar fish (from the Rhinobatidae family), to which the would add cuts, folds and mutiltions up untill the monsteer would start having a vaguely antropomorphic shape. The monster would generally be similar to a demon or an angel. The aim in creating this monster was to confuse and decieve the forthcoming. For example making one believe they had a basilisc or dragon cub.
