Peruda, Pablo (pseudonom of the poet Julio Carlos Díaz Usandivaras parodying Neruda). "La oreja blindada: diez alaridos autobiográficos para declamar abajo del ropero". 1st edition. Buenos Aires: Published by Pezuña, 1954.

Pablo Neruda’s autograph is on the cover in green ink, crossing out the title and there is an inscription in his handwriting: “Yo no fui. Pablo Neruda” (It wasn’t me. Pablo Neruda). This is an extremely rare anti-Neruda satire, mimicking and mocking the style of the prize-winning Chilean poet. The author, who professed contempt for Neruda, quickly regretted the joke and had the rest of the print run destroyed. Colophon: This forget-me-not writing was printed for posterity at a funerary printing press in the dark city of Buenos Aires, one is able to address its author Pablo Peruda, all types of dithyrambs and artillery postcards to the following address.” Original paperback binding, 8 unnumbered pages, 24 x 17 cm. The cover is slightly yellowed at the edges. In very good condition.
