16 pages 24 x 18 cm. The cover vignette made by Miguel Prieto, who also took care of the edition. First edition. In the colophon it states that this poem was read by Neruda at the banquet in honour of the USSR which was attended by Mexican intellectuals and foreigners resident in Mexico on the 29th January 1943. Print run of 5000 copies. There are 100 further copies, signed and numbered by the author.
