Fragment of the poem Ausentes (The absent ones) taken from Las manos del día (The Hands of Day), published by Losada in 1968. Document handwritten in green ink on paper with the “Fundación Pablo Neruda para el estudio de la poesía” letterhead. Signed in the bottom left corner with the letter “P.” Includes the first line of the poem, the complete third verse, the complete fifth and sixth verses of poem number XI entitled “Ausentes” from Las manos del día.
