"One of the most important artists of the Bohemian Lucerne 70s Castelli's artistic production is vast and varied, and ranges between photography, graphics and painting, considered one of the representatives of the neo-expressionist painting. From 78-90 he moved to Berlin, and became one of the "Junge Wilde", an important neo-expressionist art movement. in later years, the artist experiments with new techniques through the use of a darkroom homemade, develops the rotating paintings, that can be rotated up to 360 °. depending on how they are hung, the painting shows the viewer new faces, bodies or city views. in the works of Castelli are represented intimate and personal moments that the artist brings with bright colors and contrasting , typical of his painting. the painting in question, sold at auction in 2006 by the Metropol, a Swedish auction house. Show the use of a set of colors at times psychedelic, as opposed to the Black brush stroke, by Decision outlines the shape of the face shown. This pictorial device is used to emphasize the intensity of the moment, and alter the viewer's perception."
