A WOOD SCULPTURE OF GUANYIN
China, Qing dynasty
The divinity seated on a rock-shaped base, hands on top of each other with open palms facing upward, dressed in a wide dress open on the front of the bust, the head crowned by a tiara in the center of which a small figure of the Buddha, head slightly down with eyes half closed in a meditative expression.
