Padre Pio da Pietrelcina (1887-1968) handkerchief

Lot consisting of: a cotton handkerchief with floral embroidery, with evident blood stains, donated by Padre Pio through Angelo Battisti to this Don Mario; two typewritten letters signed by Battisti, one of which dated 1963 which reads "Dear Don Mario, the Father wanted to send you a sign of his constant remembrance. He would have liked to do more, but holding the pen becomes a real problem for him; the thing that bothers him the most. This gift brings with him flowery prayers, suffused with gratitude ... "where the" flowery prayers "are the stains of blood on the handkerchief. Small portrait photo of the saint of Pietrelcina is included. Dimensions of the handkerchief cm.26x26
