'Sha'agas Aryeh' - with Kuntras Acharon, authored by the Gaon Rabbi Aryeh Leib ben Rabbi Asher Gunzberg author of 'Turei Even' Abd and Ram of Metz. Many approbations by the Geonim of Lithuania. Rabbi Shmuel Avraham Shapiro Press, Slavita, 1832.
Important ownership inscriptions: on the protecting leaf it was handwritten that 'The book belongs to R. Shimshon of Kovrin' by his grandson Yosef Halevi, to which an inscription was added 'And the above gave it to his son-in-law the Gaon Israel Eiger of Pinsk' the son of the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Eiger Abd of Posna, the son of the Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger. The Gaon Rabbi Yisrael served as a Rabbi in Antopal near Pinsk. In the body of the sefer, his two handwritten signatures appear: "Y. Eiger".
90 leaves. Part of the title page in red ink. 35 cm. Handwritten glosses from that period on the title page and flyleaf. Ownership inscriptions and signatures.
New beautiful leather binding. Stains, some moth damage to some of the leaves. Very good condition.
