Signed lower right: K. Castellucci BIOGRAPHY: He stays for two years in Paris, where he studies dance with Isadora Duncan and participates in Prampolini's "Futurist Pantomime" at the Théatre de la Madeleine. In 1928 he returned to Rome where he met Ziveri and Fazzini. He attends the Evening Schools of San Giacomo. In 1932 she made her debut at the III trade union and in 1933 Dario Sabatello dedicated an article to her in "Il Tevere", entitled The daughter of the regiment. In the mid-thirties he went through a period of crisis, but already in 1936 he exhibited at the "Galleria della Cometa", together with Adriana Pincherle. In these years his painting closely resembles that of Ziveri and Mafai, gradually becoming characterized by its bright colors. In 1943 he set up a personal exhibition at the Minima Gallery in via del Babuino. During the war he participates in the Resistance. In 1946 he moved to Milan, where he devoted himself to teaching, leaving out painting. He returned to exhibit only in 1961 at the Galleria Lo Zodiaco in Rome. Also noteworthy is his activity in the theater (Costumes for La Mandragola, 1953; scenes for La fata Morgana, 1954) BIBLIOGRAPHY: Caterina Castellucci, exhibition catalog, edited by F. Benzi, R.
