The artist, active until 1913, he painted religious subjects and portraits, and distinguished himself in pastels.
The work, oval-shaped, made with Oil paint on canvas, depicts a character dressed with rich and elegant appearance of the era. The vigorous coloristic contrasts and chiaroscuro faces bring to mind the style of painting of the Neapolitan school.
