Pair of oil paintings on canvas depicting still life of flowers, 17th century painter. Cm 47.5x35.5, oil on canvas. "Tuscan school of the 17th-18th century, circle of Andrea Scacciati (1644-1710). Each arranged in a vase, in an elegant geometric balance, works by a Tuscan painter who suffers from Flemish reminiscences and the Roman way of painting. The characters of the compositions make an inclination for an artist close to the characteristics of the Florentine Andrea Scacciati. In fact the works, while highlighting a Tuscan connotation, are configured as a link between the Flemish and the Tuscan schools, also highlighting a way of painting in the Roman style or rather the Mario dei Fiori with the shading of part of the composition that enhances and gives plasticity to the body of the painting in its centrality on the dark background.
