The print created by the Bolognese engraver Lorenzo Tinti after a design by Francesco Ferrati, invented by the Ferrara architect Carlo Pareti, shows an equestrian masked party held in Ferrara in 1672. This engraving illustrated the publication: “Il Mondo. Mascherata. Esercizio cavalleresco da rappresentarsi a cavallo nel cortile di Ferrara all’eminentissimo signor cardinale Acciaioli legato et alle signore dame. Inventato, ed ammaestrato dal signor conte Pinamonte Bonacossi.” Composition by Count Francesco Berni, Ferrara, for Giglio, 1672.
