Way Peruvians light the Holy Fire during the Sun Party - Inca offering a liquor vase is a fine etching, hand-watercolored, realized by the engraver Gianfrancesco Pivati. This original print, representing a typical Peruvian and Inca rite during the Sun Party (the offering to the Sun deity), is from the series New Scientific and Curious Dictionary concerning the Sacred and the Profane, Tome VIII, Plate LXXVII, published by Benedetto Milocco in Venice in 1746-1751, concerning the Uses and Costumes, Religious Rites of American people. Perfect conditions, including passepartout Acquaforte, acquerellata a mano. Rappresenta un rito tipico peruviano e inca durante la Festa del Sole (l'offerta alla divinità del Sole). Tratta dalla serie "Nuovo dizionario scientifico e curioso del Sacro e del Profano", (volume VIII, tavola LXXVII), pubblicata da Benedetto Milocco a Venezia nel 1746-1751 e riguardante costumi e riti religiosi del popolo americano. Condizioni perfette, passepartout compreso.
