Provenance: Italian private collection.
The scroll faithfully reproduces a famous composition painted by Li Qi in 1960 and entitled The Chairman travels all over China, owned by the National Art Museum of China (see Lu Peng, A Pocket History of 20th-century Chinese Art, Milan 2010, p. 849)
