Armando Borgioli (1898 - 1945)
He made his debut in 1923 and sang at La Scala from 1927. In four seasons, from 1931, he sang at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Borgioli made a studio recording of Aida in 1928, where he sang Amonasro with Giannina Arangi-Lombardi, and in 1938 he was Scarpia in Tosca with Maria Caniglia and Beniamino Gigli. Photograph of the Italian baritone with autograph dedication to Luigi Zocca (Bussoleno di Verona 1877, parish priest, herbalist, military chaplain).Excellent condition
