Paliteiro (?) em prata, séc.XIX/XX, P238g
Toothpick holder(?) in Portuguese silver from the 19/20th century. Female figure in perfect shape holding a cup in the shape of a scallop, possibly later made, on a base in the form of a column decorated with plant motifs, with four claw feet. Base with Lisbon contrast mark (L-44.0 or variant), in use from c.1843 to c.1870, and illegible goldsmith's mark. Signs of use, shortages and replacements. Approx. weight: 238 g.; Approx. height: 20.5 cm.
